Article about: In the last group, all but the 30th 'Old Hickory' Division patch are good - that one is definitely modern/recent because of the plastic coating ! Ade is correct in each reply.............. S

Hi Chris, in addition to Gary's comments and pics. Yours is not a green back.
The British Para wings are post war issue. While the basic design has not changed since WW2, there are some differences. Note the embroidery to the light blue feathers of the wings: this will generally be formed with horizontal stitches on wartime made examples, while post war ones will have vertical stitches.
