Hi Phil, they look ok to me.
Not seen the 41 before but the machine woven Royal Marines titles seen to come up fairly often.
Cheers, Ade.

Top!!!!
Hi Fabie
What is the width (not the length) of both items.
Phill
Hello Phill,
the width is 1.8 centimeters.
Hi Fabie
I take it both are 18cm?
18cm is WWII era , normally 17cm.
The narrower 13mm is either post war or reproduction , there doesnt seem to be a consensus on either.
41 will have to get back to you on that.
Phill
Hi Phill,
I took the measurements, for the royal navy it is 1.75cm and for the 41 it is 17.
Thanks for the info I didn't know...
Cordially.
Hi Fabie
All good to go
Both are confirmed WWII era , excellent additions to your Normandy display.
All RM Commando numbers are difficult to get .
They were worn in a set of 3:
Number
Royal Marines
Commando

Hi Phil,
yes, the numbers (especially 45 for me) and the commando title are quite hard to find but with time maybe I will have this chance.
Thanks again Phill for your knowledge and time.
Cordially.
Happy to help my friend.
All the best in your chosen field , I have a good basic display of Allied units that landed on D-Day, always looking to add the harder to find but not the expensive dollar insignia.
The good thing is every now and again we pick up good piece's
