Unidentified badge-air defence of some kind maybe?

I am guessing it's something to do with air defence given the figure behind a shield with the squadron of aircraft overhead?

Not sure if it is even British or Commonwealth? Is the split-pin fixing unique to British badges?

    Any thoughts much appreciated

I'd personally think it would be post war dutch for some kind of civil defence. Or maybe even pre war? Maybe its from the LBD. [Lucht Beschermings Dienst] Wich means: Air Protection Service.
