Is this US flag WW2 or post War?

52?? The current flag, since 1960 is still 50 stars..lol The flag showing is 48 which ran from July 4,1912 until July 4,1959 (they like to change flag star numbers on July 4th,of course) From then for one year only until July 4,1960, they used a 49 star and from there on until today they use the current 50 star. William

don't forget the 48 star flag was used right up till January 1959 when it became a 49 star flag when Alaska was formally granted statehood so its not easy to tell if a 48 star flag is WW2 or not unless its dated but this one looks to be very much a post war flag.

Alaska 49 and Hawaii 50 both admitted as states in 1950, so a 48-star flag would have been correct from 1912 to 1959. Since then there have been 50 stars.

Nylon was around during WW2 but in short supply and expensive. Rumor has it that a lot of otherwise virtuous women made the supreme sacrifice during the war to get hold of a pair of nylon stockings.
