    I have been on vacation and picked up a great deal of items I not only want to share but of course need some guide on things.
    First
    Liaison Pilots Wings, Full size,75mm wide marked LGB Sterling, on original issue card
    weight .8oz.

    Flight Engineer Wings Full, 75mm wide marked LGB

    Superb. Be careful keeping the wings stored with the paper backing. That backing is acidic. The natural lignin and other acids will keep leaching out of the paper. Need to keep them in low temp area to prevent. Thanks for sharing.

    Guys, Play take another gander at these wings. I have a person that is interested in them. A biddiot on ebay He is making all kinds of claims which are thus far unsubstantiated. What do you guys think of them, good bad or indifferent. I pulled the ebay listing. Would rather sell or trade them on here if they are good to go

    The reverse markings on both wings are not
    in the 'typical' style of LGB from WWII, but
    they both appear to have been
    die stamped.

    The cards look authentic, and by their
    discolouration, the badges must have
    been attached to them for
    a long time.

    The wings should measure exactly
    3 inches across.........

    Both are spot on 3 inches is there anything else I can measure, photo ect to help approach judgement?
    I have some emails out to Wing collectors have to check replys
