USAF mighty Eighth painted leather flight jacket badge for review please!

Hey guys, i recently bought a lot of items from a retiring dealer, US items are not my thing, so i am asking for a little help!
This is a nice badge, but im assuming its a repro, but would love a second opinion!

In my opinion, a nice repro. Paint and leather look far too fresh and clean to be 70 years old.

Just because it looks to good don't count it out. I have a couple leather patches that look brand new that sat in a trunk since the end of the war .

Here is my Genuine one. Though I must say yours still has a nice appeal to it even though its not wartime .

thanks guys, the leather does look "new" but may well have been in storage for a long time.
the paint isn't quite as shiny as it looks in the photos, that is due to my poor photo skills.
