White ensing wich era could be?

I recently got this flag of the Royal Navy made in several parts and in cotton, what caught my attention is that it only has one side, a friend told me that it could be ceremonial, beyond that I would like to know what era it belongs to and if it's from war. I leave photos of the seams. the size is 1.40 cm x 90 cm

has someone added a union flag to an England flag? The union flag appears to be double side and it all looks a bit home made.
