    Default WW2 Guidion

    Gentlemen,
Here is what I think is a WW2 guidon from the 40th Cavalry Reconnaissance Troop (Mechanized) a sub unit of the 40th Infantry Division.
Let me know what you think, It is one side and very thin material and coming apart in many places.
    Thanks as always.

I think if it was a guidon for use it would be two sided so when it is present in a formation it is visible from both sides and no matter the direction the wind is blowing. I’ve only seen two sided guidons in actual use. Perhaps it’s a display or was a presentation piece.

I have look some more into this guidon and all the ones from WW2 are one sided. Hope someone will know more about this.
    Thanks
