    Default Alpine artillery badge

    Hello
recently I aquired this Alpini badge and dont know if it is real or not. It is made of rubber and similar to metal ones in shape, but i did not come across this type. Size is approximately 57 x 51mm and has no markings.
    Any help would be great.

Looks like the alpine hat badge for Italian Mountain Troops..

I trained with an Italian Alpine unit in the Dolomites back in 1987. I traded my field jacket for a complete Alpine Uniform to include hat, pants and coat.

    Morning everyone,
I confirm that it is a badge of the Italian Army for Mountain Artillery.
This example is the soft plastic model, in use since 1961.
    The variants were as follows:
    -Troop: in black plastic
    -NCOs: in golden plastic
    -Officers: in embroidered fabric.

    Regards
    Roberto
