Nice set of items. The canteen is an officer type, but the dog tag is an enlisted mans tag. Looks like a mixed group of items.
PG-
Hard reading the flag, so I'm concentrating on the bold kanji at top and in the corners.
Top
力
Power
Right top corner:
[Upside down]
祈戦勝
Inori Senshō
Prayers for Battle Victory
天照皇大神宫
Amaterasu Kōdai Jinju
Amaterasu Imperial Grand Shrine
Right bottom corner:
断乎膺惩
Danko Yōchō
Firmly Chastise, Punish
9:00 o'clock:
三大神社
Sandai Jinja
Sandai Shinto Shrine
[Just guessing at 三大; can't clearly see the first two kanji]
Left bottom corner:
報皇忠
Hō Kō Chū
Loyalty to the Emperor
義勇奉公
Giyū Hōkō
Serving with Utmost Loyalty and Courage
[Can't clearly see the last two charactes, but think that's it.]
Top left corner:
諏訪神社
Suwa Jinja
Suwa Shinto Shrine
大伴神社
Otomo Jinja
Otomo Shinto Shrine
The balance of writing is mostly names of well-wishers; though there are a few slogans intermixed.

Hmmm ....
It looks like it could be 三束 sanzoku, but I cannot find a "Sanzoku Jinja".
All I could find is a photo of kindergarteners on a field trip link:
三束神社に到着. カードにスタンプを押してもらう.
Arrived at Mitsuka Shrine. Get your card stamped.
So Google-Translate calls it "Mitsu-ka" [alternative of sanzoku].
Heck .... it might also be 三來 [modern 来]
