Can Anyone help with this Sword I.D please

Hi,
I had a bit of an impulse online auction buy, Idle thiumbs and all that.
I am hoping my knowledge is as good as I thought, so this looks to all it should be at first glance. The sword looks really nice, and the fittings too. Im not sure of whoever joined them as they don't fit too well, so this is either a really nice sword/koshirae or the best chinese fake I have seen.
Appreciate any thoughts and a Mei translation if possible

Blade is 72.5cm and Sori 1.5cm Nagako 25cm

This is a modern-made sword produced in Dalian, China. There are a couple of groups in Dalien that make these swords for martial arts use. This particular sword is made by a man who has assumed the smithing name of 朝波 [Asanami] "Morning Wave".

中國大連都朝波己卯年
China Dalian City, Asanami, Earth-Rabbit Year

Earth-Rabbit year occurs every 60 years. The last time was 1999!!

From a Japanese zodiac calendar:
1999年 平成11年 己卯
1999 year, Heisei 11, Earth-Rabbit

Thanks! That's the guy; I recognize his romanized name but didn't know his kanji name. To correct the mei:
中國大連陳朝波己卯年
China, Dalian, Chén Cháobō [Paul Chen], Year of the Earth-Rabbit [1999].

陳朝波 translated as Chén Cháobō by Google-Translate ... If otherwise, please let me know.
