As explained in my thread, these were cash prizes until they started with cups in 1923.

very cool i will be looking for a 3rd size there has to be one. these 2 are 22cm and 17cm i will measure the other awards anyone have a bigger one or a smaller one?

I was thinking I would like to start a post about the size of these awards. I could measure the ones I have and others could add to it then maybe we can determine the 3 sizes starting in 1935 to 1941. The measurements should all be done the same way to assure accuracy. What do you guys think of this idea and how should we measure? The helmets I would think circumference the 1938 award vertical horizontal 1939 circumference 1940 vertical horizontal 1941 height I have two 1935 awards different size a 1939 1940 and the 2 different size 1941 awards in this post. Is this something people would be interested in participating in?

Most I see and own have recently come from Japan. This ceramic comes with a separate wood stand/base packed within box

so there we have all 3 sizes now 1st class 8 1/2 inches 2nd class 7 3/4 inches and 3rd class 7 inches here are photos with measurements in inches so i appear to have the 1st class and the 3rd class
