I need help with this badge. I bought an original navy helmet, but I have doubts about the badge.

Can we see the helmet? Also, did you get the helmet from a dealer? A very reputable Big time dealer sold me a Navy helmet with the same badge a few years ago. He swore it was original and even cited a few other big name collectors as saying it was original too. When I posted on that forum about the badge, the dealer/forum moderator deleted my post. Others in the hobby who are very knowledgeable collectors, not dealers reached out to me and advised I return it, which I did. It went right back on the site and was sold off. Who knows where it is now. Here is a pic of the anchor badge on that one.
