Help with katana !

Article about: Hi! guys. I am looking on these 2 katana. Up for an auction tonight. But have no clue if its original or not ? I hope these images is enough ? Many thanks for any help Best regards. Michael.

    They both look good. The top one is an older sword (can't tell date, but Meiji or earlier??) fitted into gunto mounts; the other (also an older blade) is a wakizashi in civil mounts.
