    This painted kanji is on interior rim of a navy helmet. It’s been translated to “Vice right command” Can anyone please give their interpretation of this translation?

    Hi Jareth. We discussed this in 2017 here. Some sort of deputy instructor/leader.

    Nick said, "...if there's no name on it, it has to be referring to a posting assignment that sometimes requires a helmet like the number 2 gunner for the right side of a turret gun. ..."
