IJN Veteran Association Medal

Hi,

I purchased recently this medal below, seller told me it's a IJN Veteran Association Medal. I never see one like this before, can someone confirm to me if seller's info is correct? Is this medal from WWII periode? And can someone translate to me what characters at reverse means?

Hi Ricardo I think it may be a Imperial seaman relief association member badge but I could be wrong. Looks to have a mis or double stamp on the back and missing flower on ribbon but I like it.

Eric is likely correct, as there are many types of 'military relief association' pins/badges.
I would guess that most if not all of these types were worn by women.
As can be seen they come in different levels or grades.

They are interesting badges.........!

From the look of the ribbon I agree yours came without the mum emblem it would have had holes in the ribbon if so. I must say I do like the look of these congrats on it.
