Yesterday I got this beauty of a type 38 from my uncle. It originally belonged to my grandfather, who bought it during the 1980s. It's a beautiful rifle, with an intact mum, and beautiful work throughout with a deep red stock. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, and it makes the pain of buying a Mitchell mauser a bit less harsh.

Nice rifle Rusty, maybe one of the mods can straighten out your photos.

If you crop the images slightly, or modify in some other way, and re-save, they will load correctly.
I have no idea why, but it works.

    Hi Rusty.

This works for me -> If you are using a mobile/cell phone to take your photos, always take them in landscape mode, that way they will be orientated correctly when you upload them.

That is a very nice one congrats!! Good to see the stock hasn’t been sanded and no pitting on the metal!
I know what you mean with the Mitchell purchase. I ended up trading mine for a ‘39 MAS36 years later so it worked out well in the end.
