I'm pretty confident that you have a Type 90 combat helmet on your hands. The civil defense variant tends to be more squat and rounded at the top.
It is a military style civil defense helmet.
It does not have the 4 air vents in the top. @ on each side of crown.
The holes for the liner attachment on your helmet are round. On combat helmets they are slots.
There are no attachments for the chinstrap.
Please note the points I have made by comparing the photos of a combat shell I have posted.
