Japanese Dog Tag Identification

I think this is a probationary tag as described in "The Evolution of Japanese Dog Tags (1984-1985)
I believe I have the numbers correct, I just do not know what the numbers mean. I also need help on the one top character. Any help would be appreciated

1751 - is the 40 Independent Field AAA (Anti Aircraft) Company part of the 18th Army in New Guinea.

Btw just noticed on ebay US is another tag from the same unit if anyone is interested... Just thought its a neat fact to share.
