That is a very nice looking 14.12 date and represents the last month of the Large Trigger Guard change while retaining the 25 groove grips before they began producing the 17 groove grips. This is also the last month without the magazine retention spring being incorporated into the front grip strap. Both of these changes became standard in the production cycle at Kokubunji in 15.1 date. A very few late 14.12 dates have been observed with both of these changes incorporated.
