Japanese Type 100 81mm Mortar Round

Article about: Just wanted to share this one, got it direct from the Vet who brought it back in 1945 from Guam. Always wondered if the Bakelite plug was original? (I assumed not) Cheers

    Interesting Piece! I have never seen this type of Bakelite closure before!! I have seen them with Artillery type impact fuses as well as the other type. Regards,G.Japanese Type 100 81mm Mortar Round
