    If it was the one on trademe its a civilian cap.

    It was described as "Late WWII Japanese Enlisted Mans Field Cap - “last ditch” (late war economy pattern) now very rare to find" so presume it's this one? Followed by a lengthy history lesson to divert you from what it actually is...

    Thanks for the conformation. Yep it is on Trademe. My instincts thought it did not seem right.

    That in the pictures is a civil cap make in rice straw with inside civil label and used for many years after war too it is very common, here an example of End war
