Very nice and having the leather still attached to the springs is a hard thing to find.

Nice. Looks like a Type IX or Type X. Can't see if it has a striker pouch and if so, it is is leather or canvas.

I'm not sure about the second kanji 氏 -- that's just a guess based on the few clear strokes I can see. Maybe Nick will be able to better "intuit" the unit surname.
