    Hey everyone my grandpa got this in WW 2 according to my uncle he thought there may be 2 times grandpa may have gotten this. One was he was on prisoner detail while he was wounded and I guess he was assigned to the ship next to where the Japanese surrendered. So I have been looking with no luck seems like more symbols than a lot of the other swords I have seen. Any help will be great will post more pics if needed thanks a bunch

    This is the correct way to post photos of your tang if you want to have someone read the Kanji.
