Article about: Are there any members who are able to identify what is represented by this sword's menuki, and the era ? Thanks in advance. Total length 27.5 inches, length of blade is 18.5 inches.

    Maybe post some photos that show the temper line as sometimes that can roughly indicate an era of manufacture.

    Unfortunately, Bob Coleman is not with us anymore, but he was able to determine roughly when my sword was made using this method.
    My New,(old) Japanese Sword
