Paybook 1905

Hello people.

Here a new paybook that I have just bought.
It belonged to Mr. Itoda Yoshizo". from the 5th Division 第5師団, the 42th Infantry Regiment. A soldier.
He was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture on May 6th 1883.
He fought in the Russo-Japanese War. Maybe in the the battle of Mukden.

Any extra information is welcome.

His field duty was only after the Battle of Mukden in July 1905 and short. The most important pages are out of focus again.

On 7th July, while out on a reconnaissance mission to grasp enemy positions and topography particularly of the 白塔河 area, he was involved in a battle in the area of 興隆泉.

It seems he took part in a little battle against russians troops in a reconnaissance mission.
I have been looking for these places and I have found some locations as 白塔河 (Baita river(white tower river)), but it seems they are far from the battlefield.
Perhaps, nowadays these names have changed. Is it possible?
