Please help identify this sword!
Article about: My grandfather sent this home when he was in WW2. It stayed in his attic until he passed. I now have the privilege of taking care of it. I would appreciate any information you could provide.

Nice sword!
Sword signature:
勝光
Katsumitsu
Nice looong nakago (tang) which was shortened evidenced by the second retaining peg hole. I like the ookisaki (longer blade tip) — am a sucker for those.
I do not know which Kunimitsu this one is — but one of the smiths who used only two kanji for the mei (engraved name).
The tsuba (guard) is photographed upside down; it is signed:
國廣
Kunihiro.
