Sake Cup, Imperial Guard Opinions Please

I picked up thinking this was for the Imperial Guard but now I am not sure. I have found conflicting information when searching. All thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

Buyer's remorse! The emblem in the middle of the cup was only used by the Imperial Guard Division.
石川 = Ishikawa.
?? = Kiipu's translating motto, if it ain't easy, let the other Guy do it.

Searching from the front pic only. I saw both generic infantry and Imperial Guard. I did not think there was such a thing as general infantry. I thought everything was unit specific.

1st Imperial Guards Infantry Regiment

Konoe [ko no ay; rhymes with “ in no way”] is the name of the Prince who was the Division’s commander.

Their HQ building has been preserved, it is across from the imperial palace and now is a museum of modern art.
