    Default Laquer sake cup display

I have for a long time stored my lacquer sake cups in drawers and other places tuced away. But i decided to clean out a shelf in my cabinett so i could display some of them standing up. I have posted most of them here before, but i thought it would be nice with a display picture! :-)

They display well — I especially like the JGSDF paratrooper cup.

A war victory cup with a Meiji soldier holding a flag.
The peninsula seems to be a fantasy creation but that is ok. :-)

The depicted map is the tip of the Liaodong Peninsula, where the bloodiest battles of the Russo-Japanese War were fought, around Port Arthur..

It kind of looks like a cap, with the black band on the side with a gold button, but it is a mine. Maybe the design could be used for both if they canged the paint pattern and colour.
