Dear gentlemen, I admit my total failure in translating Japanese writing...
This Takayama sword nakago is signed tosho Masanao to the right, but I’m unable to read the togishi name to the left: maybe “Furu”_ _ “Aki”?
Thanks in advance,
M.

吉左衛門 Kichizaemon was the polisher's name.
Great! Thank you very much Nick
Hi Ziomanno , sorry , I do not know your Christian name . It would also be really nice to see the whole blade , fittings and scabbard , It would be appreciated if you could add some more pics please . Looks to be a Kai Gunto .
Cheers Alan .

Hi Alan, yes this is a kai gunto I’m planning to buy. Here are some pics from the seller, glad to have your opinion about it.
Ah, and I am Marzio (ziomanno was the way my niece called me when she was 2 y.o., “zio” being “uncle” in Italian)
Wow! Gorgeous!
Nice kaigunto. It got that special tsuka and sword point.
That is a beauty!!
Love the Tsuba stack.
What is the last pic of?
Semper Fi

Thanks to you all guys; the last pic is the extra thick kissaki seen from above. I understood that this is a characteristic of the Takayama swords, among the long nakago. I think the peculiar tsuka is made ad hoc to ensure a tight fit to it.
