    Helmet pad:
    *田 中一
    *ta Chū'ichi
    first kanji is to faint for me to read.

    Interesting that the pad has the circle with '2' in it, sometimes seen in red paint on the rear rim of the helmet. Does it have that painted on in red as well?

    Earlier I thought that missing kanji might be chrysanthemum .....
    Hmmmm .... it *might* be:
    菊田 中一
    Kikuta Chū'ichi

    This is a genuine rig that's always been together. It has one of two known covers that are unlined & have vent holes that correspond to helmets top vent holes!
