    Hello Nikkel,

So far, so good. It would seal the deal with a photo of the blade tip showing the bohi, fuller groove, shape where it finishes.

This serial number range is popular with a Polish reproduction outfit, so I'm cautious when I see them. But this looks good, so far. Plus, the reproductions/fakes never have mismatched numbers, which supports the opinion that this one is legit.

The stamps are the Iijima Tōken Seisakusho contractor who made the sword for the Tokyo 1st Army Arsenal, middle inspector stamp, and it was all approved by the Kokura Army Arsenal. The stacked cannon balls of Kokura show us that this blade was made no later than 1942.

You can see the various Type 95 stamps on Ohmura's site here: An Arsenal trademark and inspection mark

Your sword was made in fiscal year 1940 by a company called Iijima. The serial number also falls into a block of numbers known to have been used by Iijima. My vote is that it is real. Thanks for sharing!
