    Hi Guys,

I have had this box in the garage so long
I forgot about it. Vet bring back from Japan and Europe.

A couple of carvings a little bit of Kanji and a seed.

Included in this grouping is a 30+ foot roll of signed ww2 euro, Russian, Italian, Canada,British Military Authority, etc. money that starts with a U.S. silver certificate
Not sure what forum that goes in?

It came from the estate of a Lt. navy Special Agent and later FBI Agent.

    Any Ideas on this stuff
    Thanks in advance!!!

The signed money notes are called "short snorters:
"During World War II short snorters were signed by flight crews and conveyed good luck to soldiers crossing the Atlantic.[3] Friends would take the local currency and sign each other's bills creating a "keepsake of your buddy's signatures".

    The polished coconut is inscribed:
    御守
    Omamori
    Amulet

    七生報国
    Shichiseihōkoku
    Unfailing devotion to one's country

The paper omamori with black writing:
    加波山本宮
    Kabasan Hongu
    Kabasan Main Shrine

    武運長久御守
    Buun Chōkyū Omamori
Amulet for continued luck in the fortunes of war
Kabasan Jinja is a shrine located on the summit of Mt. Kaba in Ibaraki Prefecture
    (in Otsuka, Ishioka City)

    Purple stamp:
    武運長久・霹靂神社
    Buun Chōkyū ・ Heikirei Jinja
Continued luck in the fortunes of war・Heikirei Shrine
    (in Tsushima, Nagasaki)

It might be a tedious task, but you might want to get all of the signatures checked out on the short snorter, some might be from old Hollywood celebs doing USO tours. My grandfather had an example while he was in the Pacific, and along with fellow service member signatures, he was able to get Olivia de Havilland and Gary Cooper to sign it.

That has to be the best short snorter I have ever seen . I would figure out a way to frame it .
