Hello all, I need some help in identifying this can. The veteran labeled it as "Japan Army land mine powder can". Measures 4 3/4" tall x 4" x 3 1/4". Has two brass screw plugs with leather washers and a pour spout on one corner. No markings. What exactly is this thing? Thank you for taking the time to look. I have doubts simply from the fact that there are no warnings at all printed on the can about the danger represented by its content, which is quite unthinkable in real life, Japanese or not.

Nick, Sorry for the late reply and thank you for taking time to look. The lack of warnings make total sense. I believe it is a can for oil or some other liquid.
