Default WW2 Japanese Water bottle Identification

I found this Japanese water bottle that is claimed to be from WW2. The stopper strap appears to be from 1941, but it looks slightly different from the one posted on the Evolution of the IJA canteens thread. It makes me question if it is actually from WW2. Any opinions on this?WW2 Japanese Water bottle IdentificationWW2 Japanese Water bottle Identification

I tend to like things on the rarer side, but if you like it well done, I don't see authenticity problems with it.

They seem to be very optimistic with those prices

Can't comment on the price but it looks fine to me.

You think they are asking too much? I compared them to other prices online and those seem to be more expensive than the ones here.

I'd recommend eBay for really common items like this. Plenty in far better condition with minimal rust and mostly original paint selling for under $50.
