Help with k98 frog

Greetings to all ! I got a frog for my k98 bayonet. Is it original? It has a cwf 1941 stamp and a Lagessa dresden stamp on a strap. And what can cwf mean, I did not find anything on the Internet.

The frog for a S84/98 bayonet is authentic. There are databases available to identify the manufacturer "cwf" but the strap mark is likely to be the same maker.

cwf is the firm Mengeringhausen & Co KG, Maschinenfabrik u. Eisenieserei.

Thank you, but could such a company produce leather frogs? By its name it is a heavy industry enterprise.

I seem to have found the answer - this is not a cwf but cwt- Alexander Dahl, Gerberei, Wuppertal-Oberbarmen. This company produced ammunition pouches for k98 also

The strap is normally not stamped, but here could be done some repairs or the parts were delivered from, anyway probably not the same firm, but the Lagesa is cooperation of various leather produced firm from area Dresden.

the frog is original. Everything OK.

The safety strap is also ok. They are also available with manufacturers. I know a few manufacturers who have delivered these belts. Probably a replacement.
