My birthday is coming up and i decided to treat myself with a nice gift,so i bought this bayo.
I've been searching for a nice matching untouched one for some time now and i thought i finally found it...
From the pictures of the guys add on WAF you could tell the bayo was perfect, unfortunately when it came it turned out the pictures were old and at some point the retard decided to disassemble it...I still cant understand what possessed him to do it...But it is what it is.
I decided on keeping it because i still think its a 90% perfect bayo.
The bayo itself is a Coppel 1940,with dark brown bakelite handles.
The blade is clean, unsharpened and has the original blueing to it.The number on the scabbard and blade are matching.
Overall i think it is a solid bayonet for a fair price.

Combat Bayos have a large story to tell and have seen many battles.

Congrats Emanuil! That's a nice looking piece and we all deserve a nice birthday present from ourselves (we know what we like and want)

As you know, I have to wait 4 months until I pay off my self given birthday present I purchased this past week! LoL
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Don't worry about the damaged screws, it's still your first bayonet and so a keeper.

Happy Birthday.Nice start, one minus is probably replacement locking nut in pommel, as not surface plain with pommel. About blueing, i assume is ok, even the photograph are not extra on uncleaned greasy blade.

Well thats a bum..I had my doubts about the button. For the blueing im a 1000% sure its original.
But i did struggle to take a good picture of the blade.

Now you will want to get a bayonet "frog" to display it. Looks good and matching is always nice. Neil
