A honest matching bayonet made by fnj - Alexander Coppel Gmbh, 1941/44 in 1941.
It looks to have been sharpened, Some are , But they left the factory with a blunt edge and were not sharp.
The frog is different than the normal German frog.
I can't help you with that one , but many here do have advanced knowledge of these.

Its ALWAYS nice to have them matching.
Are you buying it or is this in your collection?

Coppel was assigned the "fnj" letter code in June of 1941, prior to that the name was written out, and before that in the earlier 1930's it was an "S" code. The frog looking to be one from Yugoslavia. Best Regards, Fred

Thanks for your reply. Yes the blade been sharpened. And yes i think the frog it’s different.yes it’s nice to find a decent matching one . It’s from a collectors and he is selling it as untouched with the frog original to the bayonet but not the standard pattern .quite a very decent price.

Yes it’s described as untouchable K98 with the frog being original to the bayonet but not the standard pattern frog . It would be perfect if the frog had the original pattern . Nice to find a decent matching number as well . Price it’s very decent I guess

Good eyes Phil spotting the blade sharpening, AndyB will be proud of you. It does effect value to most collectors, but it's is a matching number example in otherwise sound condition. Gotta ditch the frog though, the bayonet doesn't have the typical signs of Yugo use, frog may have been added by a dealer/collector.

The frog is in reality a M24 yugoslavian that was later refurbished to M48 standarts. Bayonet is normal S84/98 when matching so its better. Sharpen is here clear, that must be not extra examined.
