    Hey Gents
I am posting this armband for an associate of mine.
I have never seen anything like and will bring it here for discussion until it can be determined what the lettering and armband identity is.

    Regards Larry

Larry, I believe it’s supposed to be a Jewish armband but my first reaction to the armband is it’s a fake. The construction and condition looks Contrived.

I would be very surprised if the armband was connected to the assault on Tunisia ...yet why would anyone advertise that and wear it on their arm?

    Interesting thoughts Gents.

Eilboten was a position involved in delivering messages inside the self governed ghetto, Kovno for example. It was indeed a courier of sorts. Youngsters, not yet of age for work detail, were often used in the position and were assigned courier numbers and armbands by the council of Jewish elders. The example shown above is not an original.
