    Hello Gentlemen,
I just want to show you my new addition, an imperial navy cadet dagger pattern 1890. An owner was lieutenant Fritz Oltmanns. He served on the cruisers “Victoria Louise” and “Ostfriesland” and on the U-Boat 157 (U-cruiser). I hope you also like the dagger.
    Best,
    Oleg.

Oleg what is your estimated year of manufacture for this dagger? I assume Oltmanns joined his first ship in 1914?

    Hello Anderson,
as far as I know used WKC this logo from about 1912/1913. Oltmanns joined the navy on April 1914. I think that the manufacture year could be 1913 or maybe early 1914.
    Best,
    Oleg.

Yes, that is about what I thought based on that refined Knights head trademark. If you don't mind I would like to copy an image of the trademark for the "WKC trademark evolution" thread. It's a good example of an early 20th century version.
