    Have you tried contacting the Auction house? ....that would be a very good starting place since they know the owner who is having it auctioned off and contacted your relative?

    I did and they said they don't keep records of past auctions.

    The item was sold in the 30's, The auctioneer doesn't keep records when they surpass a year in age.

    The 1930's???!!!! That's a pretty slick internet auction listing for the 1930's. Didn't think they could do that back then.

    Sold off by a Relative (very distant) in Germany to an American collector when they visited Germany.

    The Best you could do is post your request on multiple forums and check back every once in awhile.
    Nothing more we can do here unless you read through some of many Kriegsmarine threads.
