Kriegsmarine belt and buckle, original?

I found this Kriegsmarine belt and buckle and thought it looked good.

Although I liked it I want to be sure it’s all original.


The belt seems pre war but the buckle should be war time period.

What are the opinions on it?

I like the set except the belt being shortened. It was a common practice but it hurts the value. Overhoff is a seldom seen maker of KM buckles.

Nice set. Have a few KM buckles, not sure I recall an Overhoff before

Overhoff wasn’t on my list of KM makers. I like the look of the finish.

The buckle is a later war one on an earlier belt, gold wash looks authentic I cannot see any other colour underneath and wear seems consistent
