Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1.Klasse - A pair of Schickles
I received this KvK1 without swords earlier in the week, so now I have both versions by Otto Schickle.
You can see that the same die was used for both sworded and non-sworded crosses. Is it any wonder they were prohibited from making these awards after 1941, just check out those die flaws.

Yes, not had much motivation of late, whether it's because of the whole Covid thing, or just battling my own demons but the hobby fell away for a few months.
However, a choice few purchases over the last fortnight or so has got my boiler stoked again and I feel the obsession returning.
