I just got this KVK Ist class yesterday for trade on a few other items and some cash. There's a nice stamp on the pinback ,'62' with a slight double stamp. Opinions are welcome as to manufacturer.

That looks like a 52?

That's what I thought at first too.The image quality is poor, I am using an iPad . It could be a '5' or '6'.the top of the first numberis squared off..

I would say it's a '52' as well which would mean it was from Gottlieb & Wagner from Idar Oberstein.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thank you kindly Adrian. It's my first KVK and it's got enough frosting left for it to display well.
~Dean.
What gives it away as a 52 please guys ?
Nick
"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
If it were a '62' what would the maker be, just for reference?
Dean.
The "52" stamped into underside of pin.......:-)
Tom
Yes Nick, that is the '52' that we are referring to. If my images were better you would have seen it.
Dean
"62" is Kerbach und Osterhelt of Dresden.
