One book in English about the Lithuanian armed forces is by Henry Gaidis. Go to the following link to Amazon.com find more information about the book.

I know the author and he may be able to provide a source for the book that is cheaper than the prices offered on Amazon.com

The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
Paul,
I checked with the author (Henry Gaidis) and he says the book should still be available from the publisher – Lithuanian Research and Study Center, Chicago, Illinois, for something like $28 and postage.
They have a website at Lithuanian Research and Studies Center and then clicking on the book option at the top.
Goes to show you that Amazon.com isn't always the end all and be all when it comes to tracking down bokks at the lowest prices.

Does this position sound interesting for you? It's one of I think 4 books of this subject:
Foreign Legions of the Third Reich: Poland, the Ukraine, Bulgaria, Rumania, Free India, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Russia
by David Littlejohn
And it's available on amazon.com
