Nice buckle. Here is my example which has a leather tab, and the maker is a leather maker and not a buckle maker. Still unknown info on this very early Luftwaffe buckle.

I never noticed some were pebbled on the rear. Here is a mint one with a smooth reverse.
Thanks for posting the comparison photos. I believe the maker on my buckle is still unknown. I have another one with the pebbling.
