Real or Fake brocade buckle?
As per previous conversation the buckle IMo is a fake, its has been discussed previously on the WAF and there are several threads on these buckles

As part of that discussion you have Bill (buckle1), Christian (Wicke) and Marc V, all big time experienced collectors who have massive collections and years of experience.
This buckle you show is a first pattern buckle, the pinnacle of the TR so should be very well made, not mass produced as your seller explained, I will post a second pattern buckle made later in the war and the quality is better than the one shown. I dont like the quality of the buckle, I dont like the lack of frosting on it and I dont like the prong sleeve and prongs, they are steel and should be aluminum.
