    I need opinion about this luftwaffe dagger. Condition seems not good and the the chain around the hilt is missing but I don't have much knowledge about the edged weapons to decide whether it is original or not.

    All looks original to me but as you say, the grip wire is missing & it seems to me it is in relic condition. Unless it was cheap cheap ( & you like relics) I would pass. Regards Paul.
