    Hi Guys,

bought this one on an online auction in the States.
Maker SMF with "Luftwaffe abnahme"stamp its the Alu type with hanger.
overall condition is great, leather on scabberd and grip are superb.
no cracks, not dry, well taken care off.
blade is great with some minor wear near maker mark, otherwise mint.
Only thing that im not to happy about: its been cleaned so often that the gold wash on the swastika's has been moved for 50%
    Hope you enjoy the pictures

What a beautiful piece! I have a question. Where did you get the plastic display holders for your sword? I have several daggers that I would like to display in an up right case and the hangers you have would be perfect. Is it ok to display daggers outside the scabbard?

I didnt bought the display holders so can't help you with that.
If the area where the daggers are displayed is dry enough then it will be no problem, a lot of moisture in the air will make them rusty.
In that case use a good museum wax on the blade, that will hold back the rust.
