    Hello

    I need some help please.

I can never tell if a mark is etched, stamped, lasered or any other method of marking.

Is the maker’s mark in the attached photo correct please?

    Any comments gratefully received.

    Thank you

It's an etched mark as it sits in the dip of the fuller, and looks fine to me. For some context can we see the full image of the blade.

Looks fine on this luftwaffe swords blade, always in combination with the Waffenamt stickbird.

I’m with Ger, it’s correct on a Luft sword. Weyersberg made quite a few of them.

The sword is original, does it come with a scabbard?

Judging by the one photo...appears the scabbard covering has been replaced with a new one ...take note to the corrosion and condition of the upper scabbard fitting and the hanger leather.
